Noise Alert
Due to a migrate bird abatement Royston Police Department and Animal Control will be using firework type pyrotechnics to disrupt the birds beginning July 27th ending August 3rd. No animals will be harmed during this procedure. Loud noises from this technics will be heard in neighboring areas during this time.
The primary mission of the Code Enforcement Division is to ensure the safety and welfare of the City and its Citizens by enforcing the City codes and ordinances in residential and commercial districts. This includes addressing violations and issues such as:
- Dumping
- Tall grass
- Property maintenance
- Illegal signs
- Animal control
When addressing violations verbal warnings, written notices, and summons to appear in City court may be issued.
