CALL OFFICE FOR UPDATED AMOUNT DUE ON ALL DELINQUENT TAXES. INTEREST IS ADDED MONTHLY. 706-245-7232. The amount showing is original tax bill you must call our office at 706-245-7232 for current amount due.
Please be aware if property is sold before the tax bill is mailed, the seller pays the buyer the seller's portion of the tax bill at closing. The buyer is responsible for actually paying the taxes.
2022 Tax Information
Current Millage rate is 10 MIL
- 2022 Taxes were billed 12/12/22
- 2022 Taxes were due 02/12/23
- Interest begins 02/11/23 & accrues monthly on the 11th
- 5% Penalty will be added on 06/11/23 (1 of 4)
- Fifa will be issued and a $50 Fifa charge added 06/11/23
- All delinquent taxes will be turned over to collection on 07/05/23; this will add additional charges and penalties to tax bill.
