Welcome to the City of Royston. Royston is located in three counties - Franklin, Hart and Madison. The area that was to become Royston was settled by William W. Asberry around 1850. Royston was incorporated in 1879 and named in honor of W.A. Royston, who owned one of the first general stores in town. The total square miles is 3.4 and populations around 3,000. The quaint town is located in a central location that makes it accessible to lakes, mountains, sporting events, and other activities. Royston is a nice place to vist and a safe place to live and raise a family.

The City of Royston holds it's Regular Council Meeting on the second Tuesday of Each month at the Royston Police Department at 6:30PM. All public is welcome.
